This has enhanced productivity and ensured critical communications remain strong for daily operations and workplace safety REMONDIS is one of Australia’s leading waste management and recycling companies, operating sites across the country to provide essential environmental services. At its Tomago office, staff rely on strong mobile connectivity to coordinate vehicle movements, manage site operations efficiently, and maintain clear communication for workplace safety. Without reliable coverage, operational delays and safety risks can arise. **Sites: 1**** Location: Tomago, NSW ** ## Challenge REMONDIS Tomago, located in a regional area, was experiencing poor mobile coverage throughout its two-storey office building. With concrete internal and external walls, staff faced persistent issues with call dropouts and unreliable data connectivity, impacting daily operations and safety communications. The solution included: - An external 11dBi directional antenna mounted using a knuckle boom lift for optimal signal reception - A CEL-Fi G51 repeater integrated as part of the Active DAS to amplify and distribute the mobile signal throughout the building - Three internal ceiling-mounted omni antennas strategically positioned across the site to ensure strong and consistent coverage Due to the building’s structure and lack of roof access, a 45ft knuckle boom lift was used for safe antenna installation.  ![remondis-8](https://www.mobilecorp.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/remondis-8.png?width=780&height=585&name=remondis-8.png) ![remondis - 5](https://www.mobilecorp.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/remondis%20-%205.jpg?width=484&height=645&name=remondis%20-%205.jpg)   Outcome   "This office had long suffered from poor reception; in a black hole of mobile signal. The cellular coverage across the entire building transformed from patchy and unreliable to strong and consistent. Staff can now make calls without dropouts and access data seamlessly, enabling smoother operations and safer site communications.
