Challenge
REMONDIS Tomago, located in a regional area, was experiencing poor mobile coverage throughout its two-storey office building. With concrete internal and external walls, staff faced persistent issues with call dropouts and unreliable data connectivity, impacting daily operations and safety communications. Solution
After conducting a comprehensive site feasibility assessment, MobileCorp designed and delivered an in-building coverage (IBC) solution featuring an Active DAS (Distributed Antenna System) to address REMONDIS’ connectivity challenges. The solution included:

An external 11dBi directional antenna mounted using a knuckle boom lift for optimal signal reception

A CEL-Fi G51 repeater integrated as part of the Active DAS to amplify and distribute the mobile signal throughout the building

Three internal ceiling-mounted omni antennas strategically positioned across the site to ensure strong and consistent coverage
Due to the building’s structure and lack of roof access, a 45ft knuckle boom lift was used for safe antenna installation.
