MobileCorp adds Jamf to enterprise mobility management partner portfolio

MobileCorp has added Apple eco-system management vendor, Jamf, to its portfolio of enterprise mobility management partners.

MobileCorp has a number of customers with Apple-only mobile fleets who use Jamf for device management.

MobileCorp Chief Technology Officer, Phill McSherry, says becoming a Jamf reseller allows MobileCorp to align with and support existing customers using Jamf. It also provides an additional device management choice for any organisation with an Apple-centric fleet, he said.

"Jamf does not try to be all things to all people, and instead is focused solely on Apple device management.

"As a result, it offers a cleaner, simpler interface and a reliable out-of-box experience for IT managers and end users."

Jamf provides automation and security features that benefit both end users and IT managers says McSherry.

"Jamf's zero touch deployment combined with Apple Business Manager (formerly DEP), gives end users an out-of-the-box on-boarding experience, and IT an automated hands-off configuration set-up, profile push and device registration.

"Jamf has all the features you would expect from a remote management software platform including device lock and device wipe, remote application management, macOS and iOS software updates, and Apple security patching."

Jamf is world's leading pure-play Apple vendor

Jamf is the world's leading pure-play, Apple-centric management vendor. It has 38,000 customers globally and its software is managing millions of Apple devices.  In 2018, Jamf opened an office in Sydney, adding to 13 other physical locations across the world.

Jamf has three MDM products: Jamf Pro/Cloud for enterprise, Jamf Now for small business, and Jamf School, yep for schools.
